Peruvian Coffee Beans – Café du Jour

Peruvian Coffee beans comes from the highlands of Peru, grown at elevations of 1,200 meters and above. Thanks to the natural shade provided by trees on the plantations, the beans develop more slowly, resulting in a denser bean with a mild, yet complex flavor profile. Café du Jour’s own brand beans are roasted in small batches by a skilled artisan roaster. To ensure maximum freshness, the beans are roasted and restocked every week. You’ll always find the roast date clearly marked on the package, so you know you’re getting coffee at its peak.

How to brew Ethiopian Coffee

Choose the Right Method

For a full-bodied experience, we recommend using a French press or drip filter. These methods preserve the rich aroma and smooth flavor of Peruvian Coffee beans. Always use freshly ground beans for best results.

Mind the Ratio and Temperature

Use a 1:15 ratio, that’s 10g of coffee for every 150ml of water. Heat the water to around 92–96°C (198–205°F) to avoid burning the coffee. Let it bloom for 30 seconds before pouring the rest of the water.

Brew and Enjoy Fresh

Brew for 4 to 5 minutes depending on your method. Stir gently and serve immediately to enjoy the coffee’s chocolatey notes and balanced acidity. Avoid reheating, Peruvian Coffee tastes best when fresh.
